Unhappy

I think I’m going to stop working on the 75.

I’ve been fighting with the vehicle for three months. I still have my hot start problem, unstable idle and the engine is not running smoothly (and other problems).

I only have the codes P0151 and p0155 which appear randomly (I changed the sensor without success).

Good evening.

Taking a break is a good idea Brahim. It can bring new inspiration.

Hello gentlemen. Today, I was waiting for a friend ,the engine was idling but it cut off ( it remained about 9 liters according to the ipk).

The car wouldn't start but i put back 10 liters and it started right away.
I think I’ll try to find a fuel pump.
Thank you for your answers.

I always fill my fuel tank on all my cars before I get down to a quarter of a tank, saves any doubt about running out of fuel and I wouldn't necessarily believe your fuel readings when you get near the bottom of the tank.
Are you absolutely sure that you actually have 9 litres of fuel in the tank when the IPK tells you that, you could check by brimming the tank after it cuts out and subtracting that amount from the tank capacity - then you would be in no doubt if/how much fuel remains in the tank when your car cuts out as the fuel tank capacity is a known given (65 litres).
Good luck with your investigations.

Please see post no. 35 for my suggestion on this.

Hello, yes I had about 9 liters of fuel left. I have already had the same problem several times (see previous posts). This is not a gauge problem because it works perfectly. I have already run into fuel reserve after fixing my fuel leak, it has not stalled.

But I never manage to put more than 52 liters in my fuel tank when the reserve lights up ( ipk gives 57 liters when the tank is full, 57 liters on my other two 75 diesel).

I will check the pump.
Thank you

Did that include a new rheostat for the gauge circuit?

Isn't there a rheostat on the filter side as well?

I'm not suggesting that you change that, only that some measurements might help check that the fuel gauge is telling the truth.
