Just to confirm, battery off did not make any difference. Looks like without a backup I have lost this feature

Did you try unchecking the pinch AND the one touch up in TOAF?

I had a similar issue with an XType, holding the button up with the window closed, then holding it down for a few seconds after it had reached its maximum travel would reinitiate the one touch up and down function. Clutching at straws, I would suggest cleaning the rubber seals with a silicone lubricant. Making sure too they are located snugly into the door frame channels. I am at a loss to be honest now.

I have fixed it! I remembered I sent a backup of my BCU to the guys at toaf as I was having issues coding a key. It was still in my emails.
Backup restored and one touch up now working again. Beware when reverting to a backup as whatever keys fobs are stored within the backup file will overwrite your current keys registered in the BCU. In other words, if you install a backup from another car, you will have no working key fobs and your keys will need recoding to the car. |

Me too...!!!!
Hello colleagues:
I was able to get the window working correctly, by changing the option to raise all windows with one-touch up to just the driver's window. By the way, I have activated the option to raise and lower all the windows using the key in the lock (keep the key turned to open the doors and the windows will go down, keep the key turned to close and the windows will go up). However, be careful not to put anything on top of the sunroof as when you open the windows it also opens the sunroof. Cheers. Joel Antonio.

This Toaf bit of wizardry is really good isn’t it? A cheap, and from the amount of times I see it mentioned on here, not really up to it, similar to the recognised T4 bit of real wizardry. Think I will just stick with the T4 gents on here thanks.

my TOAF experience....
Unfortunately for me, there is no friendly T4 in my area.
There is only one dealer/workshop that has one and of course, they charge you to hook it up, not saying they adhere to what is strictly necessary. No digging through all the possibilities of the T4 to modify configurations. On the other hand, TOAF has allowed me to make changes to my cars and at my own pace. For example: I have activated the odometer on the IPK. I changed the language of the messages in the IPK. I have been able to activate the function to open and close the windows with the key. I have added new FOBs. Daylights. All lights on follow me home. Double flash signal light (emergency light) I can test the functioning of components, for example moving the VIS motors. For my part TOAF has covered my needs, I am not saying that I would love to have the T4 software but we all know that is another topic.

Yeah really rubbish investment considering the price difference - where’s the fun in a system that connects first time, every time, annoyingly easy to navigate, helps countless owners worldwide who don't have access to a local T4.
I’m planning on attending a local meet early next month, I usually try and help owners check their cars - I’ve got a choice whether to take the T4 and all its cables and bits or take Toaf: think’ll I’ll take the more reliable machine. Regards |
