Rover 75 tourer
I have just been end to end in the 2002 Rover 75 Tourer diesel, last month June 2021 in Scotlands John O'groats and Englands Lands End... plus buckets of around area driving.
superb return on fuel......, once i left Lands End, i dove up to Devon and stopped in Torquay fully loaded with my luggage and weights for my weight lifting, i filled her up at Penzance and at Devon refilled the car, it only used £17.00 for 130 miles fully freighted, shes a "goodun" this Rover 75 shes now on 335,000 miles and still used zero oil between 15000 miles intervals. owned her from brand new, she loves it, shes in copperleaf red, mid range spec Cub SE......greatest car i have ever owned. deserves to be kept alive. I only saw 4 other Rover products in 2000 miles, 1 Rover 25, 2 Rover 75s mark 2s and one rover 75 Mark 1.. zero tourer spec. Last edited by Olde faithful; 28th July 2021 at 21:28.. |

Yes , In fact its going back down to Devon in a couple of weeks and then driving from Devon to great Yarmouth on the Norfolk broads... no problem.. its heavily used Rover 75 , having said that, well maintained and wants for nothing, if it needs it it gets it.
no rust on the panels and its 19 years old, im going to Krown rust proofing in August for a body floor top up. I must admit i love the handling of the Rover 75 tourers with serpents alloys, hold the road like super glue and less bumpy than the MGZT. Tourer with stiffed suspension , however with car like ride, MGZTs are little harder. so the tourer is the pick of the bunch |
