I removed all the trim to re-paint, and I regretted it.
The windows and around doors are not the wort pieces, but the strips are bad and you can almost not remove them without damaging the plastic clips holding them.

I would strongly urge you to mask off with thin tape.
If you put your heart into it, you can get professional results!

Do a search, if you can get the clips, they cost a fortune, if not, you will have to glue the stuff back.

My advice is, don't!

thanks kaiser i'll just leave them it looks like the trim has been removed before probably for a paint job but they'res two pieces that looks like they've been hammered on they have a couple of dents probably from a hammer i was going to go to the scrappy and get the parts that are dented but i think i'll just leave them thanks again

Getting to the rear side trims appears a nightmare, that's why, as some will know, mine don't look smart. I was thinking that I might get stuck in during the summer, but I've forgotten which summer.

went to the scrappy today and remove the two pieces of trim i need for my tourer i had no idea how these trims were fixed managed to get them of with not a lot of effort now i know how they're fixed i think i will be ok replacing the ones on my car which is the one on the front passenger door which took more effort and the one on the side window behind the o/s passenger door which really just popped off hopefully mine will come off just as easy and the replacement ones go on as easy as they came off a little bit apprehensive as i had nothing to lose when taking them off a scrappy different story when working on your pride and joy so not in any hurry

just buy a few packets of the small black clips that hold the side strips on.The rear quarter strips have a couple of threads with nuts on accessible in the boot.
The chrome strips along top side windows have a unique clip with a small rubber washer . Both clips will break when removing the chrome.
