Default Where is the EGR valve on the Rover 75 tourer 1.8T 2005 model petrol?

Hello everyone!

Just so its out there; I am totally new to this forum.

I was wondering if anyone could be so kind as to guide me to the location of the EGR valve on the Rover 75 tourer, 1.8T petrol. I have a slight surge in my rpm and moderate petrol smell at idle and suspect the EGR valve could do with some cleaning.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Regards

Eirik S.

There is no egr valve on a 1.8T petrol. This valve is fitted to diesel models only.

The surging could be an air leak somewhere.

There is no EGR valve? Isn't there a EGR valve in petrol engines?

Regards

Yes EGRs are fitted to many petrol engines, but as mentioned, not the K Series.
