MOT pass
Took the 75 tourer for it's MOT today, passed with no advisories and an impressively low emissions test result.
Unfortunately the n/s front spring broke as I drove off the testing station forecourt, but the tyre protector did it's job and I nursed it home with no issues. I fitted new drop links, discs and pads all round, new handbrake shoes and serviced the calipers just before the MOT and combined with a service and check over managed another advisory free test (every MOT since I've owned it so far!) Good result with the MOT, although you have work to do! Did the garage notice the spring breaking after the test?

I am going to replace both front springs, the rears were changed about a year and a half ago and still look good so I will leave them alone for now. |
