Remote key
Hello all, can anyone recommend where to get a key programmed in the Derbyshire / South Yorkshire area please
Key looks new only have the one opens door and fits in ignition no problem but the remote does not work at all - led lights up though The car is a 03 mk1 75 tourer Thanks |

does the central locking work via the key lock and button near the handbrake? You may need to resynchronise the remote, IIRC you need to press the unlock button 4 times in succession. If not unlock then it's lock, I cant remember which way around it is.

Thanks for the reply yes key works fine and internal lock button locks and unlocks
Will give the resync a try thank you Have ordered a brand new key, is it the same procedure? |

Have you checked the fuses? 36 iirc Also, make sure if you buy a new fob to change the transponder over

I haven’t checked the fuse
Is that all that fuse does? Bought a brand new key that needs to be cut with electronics inside Will this need to be coded to car My current only key looks new too Am I right in presuming that even if remote doesn’t work that there is something in the fob that disables the Immobiliser ? Cheers |

Have tried the resync instruction above but no difference
Can I get some really clear instructions on that so I’m def doing it correctly Cheers |
