Default Mg 7 climate /standard climate

Got a weird thing going on standard climate control unit wont power on,but mg7 one will work, ive checked both units in my car and they work.so any thing im missing as im no electrical guru ? Any help would be appreciated thanks in advance

Little bit confused. In what way does it not power on as you say you have checked them both in the car and they work?

I suspect he's checking them for someone else, so tried both units in his own car to see the units themselves are faulty .

As cliff says in my car they both work but in the other car the original doesnt but the mg7 one does still no further on im now stumped duh

If it's a later car with the later style fuse box with the mini fuses, check fuses 11, 27 and 34.

They are different, I tried one of the MG7 units in my 260 and it just went full hot with no control but as soon as I put the original back in it was fine. Apparently this is normal in a 260.

It would be good to get an MG7 unit working on a 260 if some body can work out why this happens.
