Definitive accessories query
I'm in a bit of an arguement with a company regarding drop-in mats.
Am I correct in asserting that the MG-ZT and R75 (saloon in this case) have the same footwell dimensions/profiles and that the OEM drop-in mats are (apart from their logos) identical shape/dimensions for both. I also believe that the front mats have two fixing clip positions for the drivers side (same on the passenger side in the case of Premium quality mats). In my case it's regarding mats for a Facelift (Mk2) but were they identical to Mk1's (shape and nos. of clips). As the seat rails (I think) are also identical I'm guessing the small rear footwell mats are the same regardless. |

Yes I believe you are correct.
The floor is the same in all of the 75 and ZTs including tourers except for the v8 models where the center console is wider. And yes I believe the factory original mats had 2 securing mounts for both front mats. |

I cannot remember if the drivers side had them either (they weren't there when I bought the car, but I did fit some.later). There has been a post regarding them on these forums. Sent from my SM-A600FN using Tapatalk

My dads old mki 75 didn't have them at all though. Redfive doesn't have them. I can't remember if my typhon does, will have to check the next time I get it out of the garage. |

This previous post might help ?
https://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/for...ght=mats+holes My 2001 mk1 conny has the clips on both driver and passenger sides as original equipment . The holes in the mats fit over them then the clip twists to lock them in . The originals were ash grey and I bought a set of burgundy ones a while back to match the car colour ; they were bought from an MG Rover garage and described as ex-factory stock , but interestingly proved to have smaller holes which did not fit over my original clips . Might the fittings have changed over the years , or perhaps I got the Indian Variant ?
