tow bar wiring
Hi all can anyone tell me if it's ok to wire the tow bar wiring straight onto the loom in the boot of a tourer without going through the relay box that generally comes with the two bar thanks in advance

Are you wiring for a caravan or just a trailer and only need road lights?
In the UK we need to know if the trailer indicators are working and the normal relay gives an audible sound. Why do you not want to use a relay? macafee2 |

Not knowing which relay you have but a TEB7AS is quite common, this link shows how to wire it https://www.towbarandtrailercentre.com/wiring-diagrams macafee2 |

It is very, very easy to run the power cable under the car and not try to mess about trying to get it through the car somehow. This way the job will take only a tenth of the time. Up through the boot floor and into the relay.-- |
