The only slightly worrying thing is that the hospital are not doing any sort of follow up investigations. I guess they don't want any more folks in there than absolutely necessary ATM.

Fingers crossed it was a one off.

Babysitting again this weekend so I'll have a chance to see what difference Brian's new ECU plus a new set of Viton O rings on the inter-cooler makes on the journey.

Good Luck with the car washing.

Take care mate.
That’s good to hear, didn’t get vehicles washed after all as we went shopping so didn’t get in til mid pm. Hope to catch up with you and Quizzie at end of the month.

Yeah, course I know that Rich but its getting me down. Varying levels of pain never dropping below a dull nagging ache in both wrists throughout the day starting minutes after I surface from my pit. Can't lift a kettle with my right hand, now struggling with the left unless its only about ¼ full. I have an xray appointment on Wed but its going to be a while before the GP comes to any conclusions. Heat doesn't help, neither does cold, paracetamol is the only painkiller I can take but have to be careful with it, doesn't seem to do anything anyway! Need to speak to the GP tomorrow, see if there's anything I can take or he can prescribe to ease the pain in the meantime.

On a lighter note, lump of pork roasting in the oven, got the potatoes to prepare , veg, gravy and think some sage and onion stuffing. Can't delegate potato peeling duties to my other half as she's been felled by the vaccination side effects.

Any idea what’s causing it, ? It’s not like it was related to your former career. With me it’s neck shoulders wrists knees ankles and feet. I had 19 years of climbing ladders, that knocked my knees and ankles up, and wrists. Then I have had 13 years of reaching for the skies with the pole system which involves looking up all the time, this has wrecked my neck and shoulders. Going to have to see the osteopath again.

My mother was absolutely knackered with arthritis Rich and it can be hereditary, that's concerning me . . . . and my GP. The pain isn't due to an injury, an injury wouldn't be both wrists and its crept up slowly, getting worse over months and in the last few weeks the pain has become really intrusive.

Cool

Morning Phil and fellow early risers.

Had a adventurous walk yesterday, was out for two hours. Walked to the Celtic Cross, around to our new railway station and then down to Waterside and home via Brunel Green.

Off down to the Street this morning to go to the Post Office.

Good morning Bob, your doing well keeping active. When I was at the Royal Free Hospital, part of my remit was to run an exercise group for the over 65’s, this involved chair and relaxation exercises for the infirm and stretching, warm up and step dance for those more mobile. We found these exercises paid off in dividends in preventing serious injuries/fractures if the 65+ fell at home or in the community, so please do keep it up
