Don’t beat yourself up about it Richard, it was an accident. I did evil in a previous life? I have had that said about me when I kept ending up in hospital last year and you have to rise above all of the negative thoughts. People mean well when they say those things. Your strengths, you are one of the kindest friends I have. Remember when you sent a car part out to me all the way to Kenya? That was going the extra mile, thank you very much, selfless Richard, you have been through worse, so don’t let this pull you back.

Deep breath Rich, sh*t happens, just seems to be a lot happening with you just now. You'll get through it.

Hi Rich.

I've met you just once and yet you manage to help me out of a big hole when my 75 packed up on the A1 very recently.

And have shown care and kindness every time and in every way when we've been in touch with each other.

That isn't the behaviour of a scumbag. It's the behaviour of a damn fine and decent human being who I'm happy and grateful to call my friend.

Sent with care and love from me, Marg & Quizzie.

Wee heads up for those who have had their first covid jab. My wife is a nurse and got her 2nd jab (Pfizer) on Friday and it has absolutely felled her! She was warned the side effects of the 2nd jab could be worse but neither of us expected 3 days (so far) of waves of nausea, dizziness, severe fatigue. Had to speak to the GP who is organising anti nausea medication. I had to phone her work earlier (supposed to be dayshift tomorrow) and the person I spoke to said quite a few had a reaction to the 2nd jab.

Not saying it'll affect everyone that way but thought I'd make you aware of the possibility.

My wife got me to post in the ward FB chatroom asking if anyone else had problems after the 2nd jab. The majority had to varying degrees.

After a somewhat misty start we have had another day of unbroken sunshine all be it a little cooler today.
I had a little surprise earlier when a friend called to say he had left me a gift on my doorstep. He and his wife are clearing the contents from the home of a recently deceased uncle who had worked at some time in his life as a coach builder at the Albion Motor Works..The gift consisted of over 3000 assorted sized slot head wood screws in quantities of 1 gross per box.

Hope so Ian but some of her workmates that had the 2nd jab sooner who got back about the query I posted on the ward chat reported feeling cr@p for up to six days!

Trailed along to the chemist to collect the anti nausea stuff only to discover the GP hadn't emailed the prescription and there was nothing showing in the computer system
