I don't care what it was that hoisted them, I just hope it hurt. It wasn't a very good introduction to the club as a new member but I soon realised it was not endemic.

There are good and bad ex members of this site, the same as there are good and bad members who are still here.

Of course there are. I hope my post did not give any other impression, that was definitely not intended. I am still puzzled why you would need to say that!

Cool

Over the years I have reluctantly sold cars on. Usually as I could not afford to keep them running, if only I had kept at least some of them.
The Flying Banana is the longest I have ever owned a car, a shade over 9 years now.

All very true Andy. The 'remaining' bad members are on my Ignore list which I am glad to say is slowly but surely getting shorter.---

'Self' erosion springs to mind.---

Oh yes, very nice. roadster or coupe? You were, in my opinion, a lucky man to have owned one. I would be privileged to get a drive in one of those!!!

Still around as taxed until next June, if I have got the right car.

Regards,

Dave.

Correct Dave.----The shocking thing that I mentioned though was selling it in part exchange for one of those Coke bottle shaped Ford Cortinas for £400.00------

Mate, I do not know what to say about that one!!!!!!

Can only guess the 400.00 will have multiplied a bit by now!!!

Have you ever seen the car again since you sold her?

Dave.

I would like to see it again after selling it so many years ago. ( about 45 years.-- ) but you can't get the owners address from the DVLA.

The price at the moment for that model and year Jaguar E-Type is anything between £80,000 and £99,000 depending on condition.

The MOTS at the DVLA show that is does some small mileages each year. Probably to car shows.
