Lambs liver & mash with onion gravy for tea.
Evening Ian,

I guess at least you have reassurance and that there is an end in sight to the toilet problems.

We finally got the death certificate for Nan and a date set for the funeral today.

It will be on the 8th March at our local Crematorium with a small family gathering in attendance for the cremation and the wake at the pub nearby.

Wahey we have had the boiler serviced and fixed, so the flat is now warm and cosy. The new sales company we said to sale the flat will be taking new pictures and adding them in the internet.

Good morning Jeff, after the funeral and wake you and family hopefully will have closure.

I read what you said about your Nan, how she led a full and active life, a fascinating and purposeful life. Rest in peace

Good morning all

An early start here, just about to run Jessica up to the hospital to get the results from the Consultant for her recent kidney and liver function tests. Yesterday’s visit to the dentist was nothing painful. That is still to come.

The dentist introduced me to another dentist who took some moulds and impressions to help him make a model to show what work is needed. They work for a charitable organisation where I was seen, it’s called the Jalaram Medical Centre where care and treatment is charged at cost price and this results in savings being passed onto the patients and for some who don’t have any money, the charity pays for the care.

What is everyone up to?

Morning Phil, morning all.

I hope Jessica's results were non concerning ?

It's good there is reduced pricing for dental work for those on a low income over there.

A quiet week work wise for me again so I'm at home today.

Got some sausages that need to be used up so a Full English is on the cards

Will be printing a photo of Nan later and getting a suitable frame that can be placed on the coffin. Other than that, not a lot else planned today apart from keeping an eye on Jobs coming in to snap them up.

Thank you Jeff. Jessica is having her kidney and liver function results checked. I have had to stay in the car as the front door seal on the driver’s side has come off and the window will not close. The heat today in the hospital car park is sweltering, already 30C, sweating like a pig

This afternoon a car mechanic is visiting to check the A/C belt as it makes a squeaky noise when the A/C is turned on, so I will ask him to repair the door seal as well as sorting out the A/C.

I find some of the dentists here are quite unscrupulous and greedy. One dentist I visited quoted me 16,000 USD but if I paid in cash, he would do the work for 14,000. I was disappointed with him and he was such a charmer. I walked out and never went back.

I told the dentist at Jalaram, how I am a retired pensioner, ex-NHS not rich and looking for great price. Hopefully he will be kind, I think he will be okay as dishonesty and theft in his culture is frowned upon and part of his work involves helping those in the community and in hospital who are in poverty and who are poor.

At your Nan’s funeral, will you be expected to say a few words in tribute or will the celebrant do it.

Funerals can be so emotional and difficult to get through as you know. We will be thinking of you on the 8th March.
