Re-mapped to nominal 160 by BigRuss so nippier than most diesel R75s still running. We've had it for 11 years as our daily driver. Last September it wafted us 2000 miles around France. If anything has failed I've tried to replace or repair. Considerable amounts have been spent over the years to keep it up to scratch, including most recently some £700 to get it through the MOT (rear suspension arm and road spring, both brake lines front to back etc).


Although it is nominally a Club it has more features than my recent 02 Connoisseur - cruise control, traction control and sunroof.


Money spent includes:


Retro fitted Webasto sun roof (cost £1500), with single drain tubes through to ground so no leaks.


Driver's seat recovered in original Alcantara (cost £350)


BMW PCV filter, EGR bypass.



Recent two new front tyres, windscreen, rear tailgate plinth incl micro-switch, alternator, in-tank and underbonnet pump, starter motor plunger and contacts, both rear suspension arms, serpentine and a/c belts replaced last August. Re-gassed last summer. Jatco auto box fluid changed last year. Regularly serviced of course.



No CD changer but the wiring loom is there behind the pasenger fuse box drop down lid.


Two previous owners. Current mileage 170,000 - remember several members have done far more.
