front door lock
HELP! How do you get the front passenger door lock out?, also do I need to disconnect the battery because of the side airbags?. Tried searching the how to page but it's not working at the moment.

THIS
may help. The lock is removed from the door by removing the (three I think) torx screws and disconnecting all the wiring and link bars etc for central locking, inner door release and pop up buttons Mike

I had seen that post but it's my front door and I wasn't sure about unbolting the window runner with steel cables criss crossing the door, would moving them cause the airbags to activate?

Okay guys, took a chance and slackened off the window runner and wiggling and turning it into a certain position it squeezed past the runner. All back together and working okay.
Many thanks to cossie dunc for supplying the lock. |
