Thanks. I am not a mechanic, Would a solenoid issue show up on a t4 session?

Even if the gearbox is a write off, a second hand replacement can be had for about £150. Either way you would still be getting a 2.5 Conte SE with 10 months ticket for less than a decent washing machine.

It's a no brainer IMO.

It's very easy Andy, either use a hosting site such as Imgur, or, click on the picture you want, then a box opens, click on "copy image address" it will turn blue. Then on your post along the top you'll see icons, one of which looks like a yellow postcard, click on this & a box will appear with "http" highlighted in blue, clear that then click on paste in the box, your picture should then appear. HTH's

Thank you. Will try to get some pics later. I don't recognise the green colour of the car
