Rover 75 reverse sensors
Yesterday I reversed into a post!! The reverse sensors now do not work at all. They worked perfectly before. When I put the car in reverse I do not get the loud beep. I've checked the revering lights which work. I've tried listening for each individual sensor to see if I can hear them clicking when the car is in reverse. None of them do. Any suggestions?
Thanks, Simon |

As all 4 sensors are now not working check out the connector which draws the 4 individual sensor looms together before continuing to the parking ECU as one connection - your impact may have loosened the wiring in the connector.. Doubt your parking ECU is at fault.

are you sure you want to admit the parking/reversing sensors were working before you hit the post? macafee2 |

I would check the harness behind the bumper, probably gone South when it got bumped (they are fragile due to age these days)

Thanks. I'll take the bumper off and check the wiring.
