went to the scrap yard and
went to the scrap yard as their web site said nothing removed.
MMM car was butchered but the car had a pair of very nice rear lower suspension arms and I'd not taken the appropriate socket set so they are still there. The 18mm socket need to be "deep" as the thread of the bolt pokes out to far for my socket set that I'd taken Gutted macafee2 |

Errm I'm not sure if I had one the right size but I would not have got enough leverage to have undo the nut.
Some lucky so and so is going to get 2 good lower arms. One was a year or so old it looked so good. I asked how much and was told £12-£15, bargain macafee2 |

Can you not make a return trip to the yard with a deep socket and retrieve them? (Not that I need them, bought two pairs of new ones from DMGRS last year)

just looked up the price, £119 each plus postage I don't need them but would have had them as spares. Next time I will make sure I take the right socket. I did pick up a sensor for automatic wipers, I have the rest of the harness but left the sensor on the window when I got it macafee2 |
