Default 2001 Wedgwood Rover 75 CDT 160bhp. Mechanically perfect. £1750 **SOLD**

Well gents, I'm going to be away a lot next year and there's no point in me having 3 cars sitting on the drive. With a heavy heart, Rosie is up for sale and somebody is going to be a VERY lucky owner of what is probably the most mechanically sound Rover 75 diesel that you'll ever see for sale.

For those of you who don't know the car, my build thread is here: http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...d.php?t=147181

She has covered 105000 miles from new with full history and I've spent over £3000 in the last 8 months getting her mechanical bits absolutely perfect. I'm confident that regardless of mileage, age or price, you won't get a better 75 or ZT for sale today or any time soon.

The following work has been carried out since purchase (Updated 14 December 2013):

Engine/Servicing:

Air Filter, Oil Filter, Fuel Filter, PCV Filter, and Pollen Filter replaced
5W-40 Synthetic Engine Oil
Coolant Change (Red OAT)
Viton Intercooler elbow o-rings fitted
Brake fluid changed
New Battery fitted
Bosch Super Plus wiper blades fitted
Cruise control ECU fitted and ZCS coding changed to ensure correct operation
EGR bypass fitted
New genuine Bosch MAF sensor fitted
160bhp remap installed by Marina Brian
New under bonnet fuel pump fitted
Webasto Fuel Burning Auxiliary Heater PCB refurbished by French Mike

Suspension:

2x New Lower front suspension arms fitted
2x new lower suspension arm rear bushes fitted
2x new front anti-roll bar link rods fitted
2x new rear springs fitted
OSF Alloy wheel replaced
4 Wheel alignment on Hunter system

Brakes:

4x New PAGID Brake discs fitted
Front and Rear PAGID brake pads fitted
PAGID Handbrake shoes fitted
NSF, OSF and NSR ABS sensors replaced
Rear backplates cleaned and treated with corrosion protection

Transmission:

2x New front wheel bearings fitted
LuK clutch and slave cylinder fitted
Tazu metal clutch master cylinder bought (not yet fitted)
Gearbox oil replaced with Honda MTF3 (MTF-94)

Interior:

Sandstone beige door cards and interior trim fitted
Sandstone beige Leather and Walnut steering wheel fitted
Early premium velour carpet mats with Rover logo badges fitted
Leather, walnut and chrome gear knob fitted
Electric rear screen blind fitted
Brake and clutch pedal rubber pads replaced

Audio:

BM24 upgraded tuner/amplifier from BMW 5 series fitted
Fli Integrator 6 Tri-axial speakers fitted front and rear

Exterior:

4300k HID Xenon headlamp kit fitted
Philips Bluevision W5W sidelight bulbs fitted
Rear lamp gasket seals replaced
Chrome “bullet” mirrors fitted
Rover badge C-pillar trims fitted

Price is £1750 TO MEMBERS ONLY. I'm not in any rush to sell, and no offers below the asking price will be accepted. As I said, I've spent £3000+ this year alone, I think the asking price is an absolute gift.

The car is taxed until 31 January 2014. After that, tax will be available at the buyer's expense. The car has MOT with no advisories until the end of June 2014.

Please feel free to ask any questions.

That is absolutely beautiful! I wish I could make it mine!

Good luck with the sale - that is going to make its next owner very happy.

What a great shame that you are selling the car, but totally understand especially the job you do, makes it difficult to have stability, and I fully understand the circumstances, and must agree that this is a fantastic car which you have spent a lot of time, effort and money on, and whoever does purchase the car will get a cracker

Good luck with the sale, and hope to catch up with you in the future, and most importantly keep your head down

Stu

I Hope this does not get sold onto someone just to make a profit, as it's just one of the the best

Thanks Stu, I'll stick around for the banter (much to the Chagrin of some, I'm sure :p ). My next meet will be in the love it or hate it Juke 1.6 turbo.

I'll make sure that doesn't happen David. I'm not in a massive rush to sell and she'll only be going to a club member in good standing who will look after her properly. A couple of little cosmetic bits to touch up and she'll be a very special car. There are a few members interested at the moment.
