For the DIY fellas and fettlers out there.
Went to Lidl this morning for a loaf and came out with this, complete as you see it, cordless with a charger, 3 year warranty £16,99

used mine to clean the crud off brake calipers and the like. had a dremmel one years ago but didnt last long, bought a cheapo one from Focus had it 12 years now and still going strong

Got one of these since last year it always comes handy doing things picked it up along a box spare bits
Cant go wrong with 3 years warranty just remember to keep a receipt as 1st year is with shop after that you have to go thru lidl customer services that transfers you to manufacturers |

How powerful is it. I have got a small modellers drill, but you can stop it with a stern glance. Would like something with a bit more umph

I have a cheap generic one like this and a genuine Dremel. For serious work, the difference between them is like night and day.
Over the years I've bought quite a few Dremel attachments as well for my model making activities. |
