Default Mot pass

Passed this morning .Usual stupid advisory of "grease on brake pipes"I am actively seeking to have this removed from being an advisory on test results.

Can an MOT tester test his own car?

I applaud the tyre fail on age.

I bought a 1994 Yamaha, little one XJ600. I'm the second owner and it had a bit over 14K. The tyres were full of tread but old and despite advice from fellow motorcyclist pals I did a return trip to Scotland, about 360 miles. I started riding motorcycles when I was 19 and thought, "it'll be right".

It was very twitchy. At one point I thought I had a puncture as it was squirming around on the bad eastbound stretch of the A66. I pulled off but realised this was just the tyres. The new Avons made such a terrific difference.
