Oh and I had the same problem with the battery terminal , you need more leverage than a spanner I used a 1/2" drive socket and ratchet spanner to do mine, then get a screw driver to open up 2 halves and push it down on the pillar give it a tap to get the bottom of the clamp flush with the battery before you tighten it up

Hi Scott, Brilliant! You do come up with good stuff! I've been investigating Isolating kill switches and seem the perfect AND simple soluton. Will look into them more. I still have to get the nut off but will try something meatier than a spanner.
(and by the way the wheel bearing is fine – all going well. Could not make first Nano this year and sadly will miss the next. Won't be until probably the last one and no doubt will have another job to attend to by then!) Thanks Scott and all other respondents, it's what makes this forum so good Quote:
