So is that good or bad?
I can't do the maths.
What's the mpg?

I get about 45mpg on average. Tried some additives to improve it but nothing helped. I just drive it normally however and don't bother trying to extend the miles.

I did a run to Manchester and back last year for work and did a brim to brim check and managed to get 57.1 mpg but was pretty much all on half decent A roads and motorways. There were some that doubted the figures at the time but the maths couldn't be disputed.

"Round journey was 412 miles and i used 32.8 litres of diesel.
Now assuming my calculations are correct

32.8/4.55 to convert to gallons = 7.21 ish
412 miles/7.21 = 57.1 mpg"

My Contemporary will do about 48-49 at 70, and mid top end 50’s if driving like miss daisy.

I use an app called Road Trip to record mpg.. last top up was 36.8 with 40/60 motorway and city

Normal mixed driving sees the fuel guage drop one section (8th of a tank) approximately every 50 miles. Before leaving filled tank till pump clicks off as normally I do and drove the 88 miles to Heacham in one go and I still hadn't completely used the one section 50 miles does !!!!!!!

I know a run gives you better MPG but this seems dramatic. The ZT auto is either very economical on a run, or very thirsty on general driving, or both.

Both our Autos give us about 30 in daily use 22 with the Caravan on the back and high 40s on a run. Best I have managed with the Autos was when I was driving 72 miles to work it was motorway for 68 of the 72 miles. With a very gentile right foot I managed to get 62 mpg it was really nice to fill the car up and see a range on the on board computer of 876. Makes a change from the normal 448.
But it is my choice to have the auto box old age and a broken back some years ago makes it much easier to drive.
