Default rica engineering

has anybody heard of them looking to get my zt 1.8t remaped. these can do it but i am a little concerned as i have never heard of them. they can take it from 160bhp and 215 nm to 195bhp and 260nm for £442. is this a good price or should i look else where. ps please dont say superchips or bluefin as they dont do this in this car.

A quick Google found this.

Seems a healthy improvement after chipping, but no price listed.

However, I was under the impression that the K4 engine in 160bhp guise is approaching its maximum stress tolerances. Would an increase like that be too much for it?

You can not remap the 1.8t as its at its max and it will damage your engine so big ££££££££££££ if you go ahead with it.

just been readinga couple of reviews. the people that have had this fitted have had no problems atall. 1 owner of a 1.8t rover 75 has had it onhis car for 2 years and says he is still pleased as punch with it. i have been told that the engine isnt at its full potential but it may need a few stronger internal parts if power was to raise about 200 bhp
