Front lawns mowed & lawn edges done plus I've been trimming the ivy on the front fence with the electric clippers, It's like snail central in there they are the candy twirl type snails Potted on some Japanese chilli plants that are doing really well, Not too spicy as they're at the bottom of the Scoville scale 50-200 heat units but taste great. https://pepperscale.com/shishito-pepper/

Pork shoulder chops, taters, carrots, cabbage & onion gravy for tea tonight
That Tea sounds well deserved for all your hard work in the garden Ian

Annoying day here. Tried to work in the garden, weeded the level bit at the front, moved on to the slope then it started, few spots of rain, not heavy but enough to stop work, lasted 10-15 minutes then stopped. Went back out only for the rain to start again after 30 or so minutes . . . . then stop Kept doing that all afternoon . . . . I gave up.

Cool

Morning everyone from overcast North London.

Off to meet my great nephew today. Bought him a couple of fluffy Cornish Bears.

We are having a picnic on the lawns of Kenwood House. Going by tube as parking is a nightmare.

Good morning everyone, good morning Steve

That’s great news about “come on the yellows” doing so well and let’s hope it continues for the rest of the season. I am sorry to hear about the Red Arrows not being to fly and display.

The weather forecast here is good at 24C

This week has been a bit of a struggle since I pulled my back out last week lugging up the 4 floors of where we live, heavy bags of shopping, so this week I am seeing a Chiropractor who is trying to put the spine and neck back into alignment.

Yesterday he lifted me up from a bench just holding onto my head and as he did so, he twisted the neck and something clicked, then he repeated the twisting of the neck and clicking, two more times - 3 for luck!…….. Now my neck no longer feels frozen

Neighbours have rallied around offering to do the carrying of the shopping and to collect from the supermarket. I order on line and they will do the rest, until I am back on my feet again.

Jessica continues to do very well now entering her 6th week post hip replacement. She has stopped taking pain medication during the day, which is fabulous progress, but has not yet been approved for getting in and out of a car. Physio visits weekly to jolly her along.

We have decided to sell the flat next year and buy ourselves either a bungalow or a flat with a lift. I am not too keen on flats as they usually carry high service fees.

Have a great day…….

It's been a rather hot & humid afternoon again I harvested a load of tomatoes out of one greenhouse that had split on the vine due to the excess of rain over the last week or so & I made a batch of pasta sauce so Spag Bol for tea tonight , Plenty in the freezer for a Winters day too
