I swapped a hot outdoors for a hot indoors & made some sausage rolls I used a pack of pork mince & some pork belly strips ground up. I know what I'm having for tea with some salad tonight.

Cheers Andy, I've already snaffled two meself

I've just power washed the conservatory roof & windows plus the two greenhouses, & garden furniture to get rid of the sand that came down with the rain overnight, I could make a sand castle with what came off.

Not had any of the sand down here as yet thankfully, we have enough trouble with Devon mud.

Scratch that last post, came out of work to discover the freelander covered in sand! I didn't ven know we had a shower, it was 32 deg when I left work in Ilfracombe.

May have to give it a wash at the weekend before I collect the next project...

One of the chill outers who asks not to be named, remains seriously ill in hospital.

In contrast, we are doing well and yesterday both of us swam in the tidal pool at Weston. Surprisingly the pool and beach wasn’t crowded. The water was a little chilly getting in. Today we will be doing the same

Do take care, best to Ros and the puss cats 😀

Hi Phil,

Glad you are both doing well and even taking a dip in the sea......Very brave

It has been another hot day here, thankfully the drive to and back from my client went without any holdups today!

If you are talking about who I think you are. I did recently send a text but I haven't had a reply. Please send all our best thoughts and well wishes from Ros and I if you do make further contact.

Hoping to get up to the boat at some point next week, will be a brief visit and will probably just stay the one night.

Our camera club starts the new season tomorrow, so that is my Friday night entertainment booked until the end of May 2024

Bed for me now, so catch up soon .

Cheers Andy,

With the state of UK roads it makes you wonder if it worth having nice cars or bikes
