Can somebody help?
I have a batch of DVD videos I would like to upload to YOutube but I do not know how to convert them. Maybe you have some experience.

HOWEVER, if you are wishing to upload onto Youtube, do not bother if they are copyrighted (ie you did not make the footage - I mean actually make it, not just record it). You could spend all your time ripping it, only for Youtube to remove it, adding a strike to your channel.

This. If your DVD's aren't copyrighted then by all means try handbrake if it's still available: if they are, then don't.
