Shocks
Going over speed bumps in my car is just horrendous,bang bang,bang,had new front springs fitted app 2/3yrs ago,cannot remember quality/make.But my suspension is nowhere the quality it was,done over 150k with the same shock absorbers,are they due a change?,any makes reccomended.

Are you sure that it is a shocker problem and not wear elsewhere? Drop links, anti-roll bar bushes, wishbone bushes, etc., etc?All those can give a nasty clatter over the bumps.

Most suspension components will be tired to some degree at 150k miles. Replace the whole lot.
