Ztt rear door stuck open now closed
I have just had a nightmare of morning already. Had an appointment got in car started up and door open symbol so went round check doors and opened rear drivers door and it gets stuck open. So after a lot of swearing getting the door card off I manage to get it closed.
This is where it gets fun it worked opening and closing as it should then realised that I took off the connection for Central locking. So door card off again connection on and still all ok. Then just been back out after half hour to o back out and it doesn't open again. Anybody had this problem before and know how to fix it. Tried a search but inconclusive as there all just wasn't working from the start but mine did. Thank you very much Danny

If it was below freezing last night, almost certainly moisture in the lock has frozen. My car does this regularly, a jug of warm water over the handle soon sorts it out.

i had this exact problem the other day when weather conditions were frozen first thing in the morning. The drivers door just bounced when i attempted to shut it. In the end, I unscrewed 2 rubber thingies from the door face where it meets the main bodyshell

Well I've only gone and fixed the ****** door haven't I. I managed somehow to take the door card off with the door shut and have a look in there. What had happened was the rod from the outer handle had worked slightly loose of where it sits in its plastic sleeve. I only noticed this after a brew and a few choice words.
So to fix it all I had to do was just push it back into its sleeve and voila the door opens.
