Default 2003 mg zt 190+

Hi guys and Gals. My name is Bayley, 31 years young from a little village called Drury in north wales. I love cars and have had a variety of hot hatches over the years ranging from williams clios to 306 gti's and ending with a 106gti that I had for 6 years. I sold it just before christmas and bought my ZT just after christmas. I spent hours and hours trying to find a decent car that was quick, handled well and was different. High on my list was a MG ZS 180. This ZT popped up on ebay with 30 seconds to go so spur of the moment I bid and won it for an awesome price.
My first intention was to sell it on for a profit but after just a couple of days I am in love with it and it isn't going anywhere without me!
This cars has extras that i didn't even know you could get in a car. Heated seats, electric everything, xenons etc etc. The engine has only done 78k and it has been well maintained with all belts being done and the clutch assembly being changed.
It has tinted windows which I presume is an aftermarket addition and also some aftermarket alloys which I am not to keen on. Apart from that I love it!!!

And what is the top speed on a MG ZT 190?? In real life (on a private road/track)? I hit the limiter in 5th doing just over 150mph, or so the speedo said

Nice car, where did you go to get it up to that speed?

As said, the speedo is going to be pretty inaccurate at that speed, best off with a gps.

A small runway in North wales. It it is the only other car, apart from my williams clio, that i have hit the rev limiter in 5th. I have only done this once and most of the time I play the petrol game seeing how high I can get the MPG. It averages about 32 most of the time which is awseome for a big car.

Judging by the rev counter the car was at it limits, perhaps 140mph.You claim you reached these speeds on a runway?

I had the pleasure of taking a Sierra sapphire Cosworth to these kinds of speeds on runway many years ago, both hands on the wheel, hoping the tyres would hold out and a fresh pair of underpants at the finish.

Anywho.. missing the point. The ZT is an amazing and highly underated car and I love it!! It drives well, is incredibly comfortable and I hope to keep it for years to come, well, until I find a ZT260 for the right price
