Default water on the rear passenger floor

My car has a sunroof with climate control, i have water on the floor under the passenger seat and behind it in the foot well, the front foot well is bone dry apart from a little over seepage from the under seat, i assume if it was the sunroof drain, it would be in the front well too, there is no water under the rear seat so the in my mind excludes the rear lights, which have been sealed with silicone sealent in the past by a previous owner.
could it be coming from the door seals??

Hi I had this problem and I found it was coming in via the fasteners that secured the side trim on the boot. I siliconed the fasteners inside the boot and along the top of the trim with windscreen clear sealer and it did the trick.

I assume that you have checked the spare wheel well for water? This can fill up and will eventually surge forward when you apply the brakes etc and pass under the rear seat in to the rear foot wells.

Agreed, first thing I'd be checking.

My money would be on the passenger front sunroof drain if this hasn't already been eliminated.

Mine failed last year. I had obvious water ingress in the passenger rear footwell but the passenger front seemed dry to touch, but when I lifted the carpet, the foam backing was sodden.

I've attached a picture of my passenger front sunroof drain when I first discovered it was leaking.
