Have you ever seen Still Crazy with Jimmy Nail and Timothy Spall, its a superb old school English movie. It has the brilliant Bill Nighy, he's one of the best in my book.

I started watching 'The Thick Of It' but thought it rubbish so didn't finish it. It was about a spin doctor like Alister Cambell from the labour party.
It am up for colourful language but not when it relies on it and isn't even funny
Also Boardwalk Empire, which I only bought because Steve Bucemi stared in it, was a bit thin on the ground.

The Pacific is brilliant, it's very similar to Band of Brothers. I also liked the west wing, true detective and the killing.

I tried sons of anarchy but just couldn't get into it.
