State of the roads with bad weather
This year, for a change, I have tried to keep my cars clean.😳
But after 1 week of commute to work, the car looks like this....😱 Not usually too much of a problem, but last night, with the very bad fog we've been having in NI, coupled with dirty windows, I clipped something when entering the father in laws driveway. (It's awkward at the best of times, as its a tight turn dropping at a steep angle off the main road). I though it was just the rear tyre, but when I got out for a good look this morning....., Not a happy camper..😡 but entirely my own fault. Keep those windows clean folks. It helps when you can see out of them.😢 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sorry to hear of the damage to your car but a bit of filler in there Sean, and it will be fine , but don't leave it to long or corrosion might set in. Specially with the bad winters we get and all the salt/Grit that gets chucked down on the roads
Kind regards Mick

Sorry to hear about the damage ...................................... however had to laugh about the "dirty" car ........................................... you see around here the car looks like that after one or two trips not a weeks worth in fact the other week had to jet wash her off only two days after being properly washed to remove several inches of mud due tot eh state of the roads. Farmers not even bothering to try and clear the mud they left. It is common to see the road way covered in an inch plus of mud and it is only a matter of time before the muddy roads claim thier victims. Of course it will not the the farmers fault .............................. oh No!

I had a dent like that and had it pulled out but first local bodyshop couldn't pull it out as his equipment was not heavy duty enough. However 2nd one did. Cost me £250 though although the dent was longer than this one.

Bodyshop should pull that out, seen worse pulled out.
If you car is waxed i pop to the jetwash mid week for a quick clean. Some fast foam in a pump sprayer and a jetwash off get a good amount of the muck off. http://angelwax.co.uk/product/fastfo...ling-snowfoam/ |

Yep, it's a pain in the orifice. I only do about 2 miles of "farmers road", and then another 88 of normal A road, to get to work. Mine was washed, polished & waxed about a week before that photo.😡 I'm putting it down to salt on the roads (for which I'm grateful).👍 I have only just put the saloon back in action, as I try to keep the rwd Merc off the roads over winter. As for washing bi-weekly....😂😂😂....I go to work in the dark, I come home in the dark. 🤔 Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
