Next Club National - Postponed
It is with a heavy heart that we must announce the postponement of our next National meet in April. This decision was not taken lightly but in view of the government’s guidelines on social distancing announced today and with the very real concern that many of our members fall into the over 70 category, the well being and safety of our members must take precedence over anything else.
We hope to hold a National at this venue at some point in the future but at this stage we cannot even begin to start suggesting dates. We are deeply sorry for any disappointment or inconvenience to travel plans that may have been made, but we will resume Club Nationals as soon as it is safe to do so. Keep safe everyone. |

Sad, but understandable. Hopefully the way ahead will become a little clearer before too long.

Its very sad all around, I've just sent out a notice cancelling the Sunday lunch club that I run for retired people.
Looks like I'll have to start cooking my own Sunday lunch !!! |

Very wise move I would say, we also cancelled our Nano meet for March & the May meet could also be in the firing line the way it looks at the moment.

I have a feeling that us of a "certain age" will be having a lot of time (hopefully) on our hands as everything we normally go to has been cancelled.
.... better start panic buying some emulsion paint this could be a good opportunity to decorate ......... |

Understandable under the current conditions, let’s hope we get through this safely and can look forward to business as usual.

Good call! Personally I think all club events should be cancelled for the foreseeable future, regardless if they are official or just local. It’s still a massed gathering .
