Been pouring again almost all night. I too thought we had had a good summer, last few years I think have been good summers and very wet winters.
I emptied a water butt yesterday 200 litres?, this morning it is over flowing macafee2 |

Yes the Summer growing season seems to be getting shorter & shorter every year, Jeen into the greenhouse this morning & it's looking very sparse in there
The tomatoes / cucumbers etc have finished & there's only some bell pepper plants left in there now, Waiting for Spring to start again seems a long time away

"For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; ..." so if you haven't done your undersealing yet, you're too late!

I suppose it depends on what you do which requires appropriate weather, but on the whole, I was quite happy with the weather during the summer.

I now have to negotiate a large lake to get to my garage- not the fault of the weather just the rubbish builders who obviously didnt even have a spirit level let alone an "ology" Chris.S.
