Plastic bag round the ECU?
We all know by now that the Big Fault in our cars is the dreaded drowning of the plenum and saturation of the ECU. While I have bored Arctic's Hole and rod when I remember there's always the lurking suspicion that it may submerge. Which leads on to the question: is it possible/advisable to wrap the ECU in a stout sealed bag as an added precaution?

Correct Cliff, the best way is to clean the plenum, rod the drains then fit one of Jules' plenum guards or put some foam in each side of the plenum to stop debris entering the drains.
