If anyone has a nice pic of my dad from one of the meets I’ve taken him to, please post it up.
I lost my dad a few years ago and I think of him every time I do a vehicle repair. He taught me so much and his stories of "nursing" vehicles back to base during his REME service has got me home on several occasions in the past. Although they have "left" they never leave our minds, memories and hearts. I still use many of his tools and just holding them is very special. My condolences to you and yours. Mike

Thanks everyone for your kind words. I’ve managed to keep myself busy so I’m not dwelling on it too much. Of course with the lockdown I can’t really go anywhere to help occupy my mind but I’m doing ok & my mother is coping really well

So sorry for your loss Colin. I share your pain having lost my dad 4 years ago next month. I dread Xmas day because it was only 2 weeks before and still very raw. The first Xmas was awful and I tried so hard to keep it together but I list it after the dinner was over. If you need a chat drop me a pm .

Cool

Had a easy day today after my tumble yesterday. Shoulder is sore and I’m expecting a bruise or two on my leg.

Was going to go to the service for Remembrance Sunday but decided against it, so I watched it on the telly. Seemed so strange not seeing all the veterans there but better safe than sorry.

Had more of my beef casserole, I made yesterday, with green beans.

Might have a malt, solely for medicinal purposes.

Evening all, Deb has been asleep most of the day so I snook out and did a bit on the Dorchester, it was a lovely mild day, didn't need a coat on!

Deeeeeelish, apart from the parsnips & cabbage. I had Cajun fried chicken & hash browns, was very good. Couple of cans & I think it’ll be about bedtime
