Misty and damp start here but sun is poking his head out.
Back to work today, only doing two days a week through this lockdown at the moment .
At least some work is better than none I guess!

Morning all.

Quite light here but no actual no sun. And dry at the moment.

Quizzie had her long walk yesterday - turned out to be almost 6 miles.

She had a marvellous time - nose to the ground through the woods, chase the odd squirrel, get plastered in mud, go swimming (thankfully....) etc. .

Evening all (well, it soon will be!!)
Yet another grey day here - there's some wind, so at least that has dispersed the fog/mist which has been hanging around for days - turned a tad cooler too.
My big event for the day - trip to the local hospital for my annual diabetic retina screening jobbie. It was due in March but fell foul of Lockdown 1.
On the way home, call at Boots the Chemists to pick up prescriptions. They're only allowing one customer at a time inside the pharmacy (it's a small one attached to our health centre) which means you spend a fair bit of time queuing outside, 6 feet away from the other dozen or so in the same queue. It's fine if the weather is half decent, but terrible if it's raining.

Since the last lockdown we have had our prescriptions delivered, its free (eyes light up like £ signs) and saves you waiting in queues and bad weather.

Afternoon all, The wind has picked up here & there is a stormy looking sky in the distance. Good job I swept all the leaves up in the back service rd to put on my compost heap, I managed to get eight barrow loads before the wind picked up & blew them everywhere

I Made a smoked haddock fish pie for tea too

Cool

The storm is with us. Horizontal rain and gale force winds.

Had a quiet day in. But paid my respects at 11am. Lest we forget.
