I'll still be attending the Nano's (it's a nice day out after all), but for now at least it'll be in a Blue Honda HR-V.
I'm glad Tarquin is staying here on the forums though - It deserves better than the scrapyard.

Now on it's way to Norfolk for a new life with Trikey.
Hope it looks after him as well as it looked after me. Not going to lie, I broke down as he drove off.

A sad situation to be faced with David but at least you know it will be well cared for rather than releasing it into the unknown.

I know just how you feel. I am a bit of a sentimentalist and there have been times when I have just hated saying goodbye.

I know how you feel David. I felt the same way when I sold my 220sd diesel in 2008 to buy my Rover 75 diesel. It had never let me down in the 6 years I had it. The only thing apart from service items that was replaced was water temperature sensor . I said to the dealer I bought it off, that I hoped I was doing the right thing. He said that his wife had been using it for the three months it had been in his possession and she was not very happy he had sold it because she was hoping it would become hers. Well it didn’t, and it’s mine, and yes, I did the right thing.
