Breakdown cover
Dear All
My AA membership is due for renewal in a few days and the cost each year is always going up to the point where I wince when considering it (always been happy with the service - when I needed it - I have to point out) Am I right in thinking that both RAC and Green Flag only cover a vehicle (whereas the AA cover the driver)? The AA model suits me as I drive multiple vehicles so need that type of cover Thanks Andrew

Andrew I have personal cover with the RAC.
Do you ring them and ask for a better price or say you are going to move to one of the others if they dont? I have to go through this game every year and they always manage to magically to find me a better price. I think last year it was 30% cheaper. |

I guess the best way to find out is straight from the horses mouth. Enquire at the RAC and Green Flag. Who best to inform you.------???

Check the Cashback sites.
Check sites such as Topcashback.co.uk; others are available. The RAC had a flash sale last month, Roadside, Recovery and At Home for £86 before 50% cashback, which has been confirmed, so in effect its only costing £43.
Todays offering is a little less attractive, £115 minus £45 cashback for the same cover. Last edited by Annfield-East; 27th November 2020 at 10:05.. |

Had to call them out a couple of times, always been quick . Covers you not a specific car!! Free cover for your spouse as well, so if any car their travelling in is covered, so they'll get out of trouble. Cheers Paul |

RAC covers me personally (lucky with my large fleet), but be careful - I know at one time it only came if you had been a member for a number of years, because they switched me without my asking, so just check.
