Default Poseidon Rover 75 on Youtube Video

Spotted this short video on YouTube about some of the lesser known features of our cars, but was wondering if the car featured was the Poseidon V8 that was owned by Duotone then J1MBO a few years ago?

It’s a contemporary SE with all the toys and looks to have the V8 premium bumper and chrome auto gear selector as well as the BMW widescreen bordmonitor that was put in by you guys. The only thing missing is the V8 badge where the air con vent thumb wheel is on the dash?

If it is that rare car, it’s good to see it still on the road.

Hi Julien,

Not in it’s current form as the author could decide to remove it at a moments notice and we’d be left with a dead link.

I believe all of those tips are covered on the forums extensively anyway, there certainly isn’t anything new in his video that hasn’t been mentioned before on here.

1) Climate Control beep mute (key position 2) press and hold Auto & Off until you hear a beep. Same procedure to reinstate it

2) IPK self test (key position 2) press and hold trip reset button until it changes then press again until it goes to 2 then press once again to activate test

3) IPK digital coolant display (key position 2) press and hold trip reset button until it changes then press again until it goes to 19 wait a moment then press again to change it to off then press again until it goes to 7

4) High speed fan test - Press econ button to switch off the climate control then press it again to switch it back on and listen for the high speed fan to run up, if it doesn’t you may need to replace broken fan resistor with new gold one.

5) See you home headlamp delay. With the headlights on, switch ignition off and remove key then turn headlamp switch off, the headlights will stay on for a short time to guide you to the front door.

6) Facelift car boot release, press and hold unlock button on the key fob to unlock the boot.

7) Lazy Lock / Lazy Vent - If enabled via T4 when you put your key into the drivers door lock and turn to the right and hold, it will open all windows and sunroof if fitted. If you turn and hold it to the left, it will close all windows and sunroof.

Yes Paul it's definitely KM54RKA.

There are two Contemporary SE's in Poseidon, the other had a full leather interior not leather/alcantara, plus I fitted the BMW widescreen upgrade when I had the pleasure of owning the V8.
