Explain the sliders on the rear 190
Hi so I am used to 600 & 800’s and had heat coming from my rear calliper so thought regrease the slider pins first. So stripped them out and was surprised to find them spotless as if they were new. So any help on this ?
Thanks

Maybe the piston isn't relaxing properly?

If you have issues, clean up the caliper and carrier where the brake pads sit, muck on those parts cause more problems than dirty pins.

My 75 rears I had to clean up because of the build up of brake dust on the runners where the pads sit. After doing that the brakes operated as they should. The difference between the sliders is the length of the rubber protectors. On the 600 they never fully covered them and so let mosture in causing the problems, ESP on the rears
