Must be forgiven for having some confusion over the border question. Aware obviously of the political pressures and the delicate situation that needs intricately careful management. Still, at this stage, there are some aspects to be fully agreed and are vitally important to the completion of the agenda.

There are so many borders to the EU, especially down the Eastern side. With Romania having borders with Russia, and Turkey hoping for entry into the EU, those borders will then meet Syria, Iraq and Iran.

Does anyone know how the border between Romania and Russia is maintained at the moment with regard to a customs and excise agreement? And how the situation compares to NI?

I think this issue of the NHS and the Brexit funding promised needs to be nailed once and for all.
I know many 1000's of people who were influenced by that message, which was very clear, and certainly not meaning an 'extra £5'
Strange how this CLEAR message is rarely or ever repeated by Brexiteers!

Maybe these 1000`s of people are the younger one`s with no experience of "life" (thank God for us older ones) and are so gullible to believe anything that is thrust into there face! Any "advertising" should be read as such!!
I am quite a sociable chap but I don`t know 1000`s of people, you must be very popular Stephen

I suspect people get defensive when they know they have lost the argument!

Maybe Boris should solve another problem
He could send out one of his aides to Maplin, since they are having a 50% closing down Sale, and buy all the CCTV equipment, also purchase a 'Dummies Guide to Border Check Software', I would would quite happy to donate my old Dot Matrix Printer, for printing out Customs Documents.
Thus, the NI/ROI border issue solved. Simples!

Thanks, Now that I have re-read it about 50 times, you can easily see where that might mean that only £5/week was implied!

This link may be of interest, simply in terms of the scale of infrastructure that would be required if the eventual outcome was a "hard" border - http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-40949424

You would have to ask this question simply: Was the NI border discussed at any time prior to the referendum? answer : NO. No informed debate relating to the impact Brexit would have on NI borders.

Look let's all accept it was a lie then and a lie now that £350 million (an incorrect figure anyway, it was less) each week would/will be going to fund the NHS.
But the people who supported this lie are now involved in some way in future trade deals - Boris, Laim and David.
Be afraid, be very afraid!

Discussion of negative consequences was - and continues to be - dismissed as Project Fear.
