Currently I only have them on the back of the V8, but I am sure I have had some on the back of the diesel in the past. Strictly speaking, the Apex alloys are half an inch to narrow for 245's according to various tables of wheel/tyre size combinations but I have never had any issues.

I bought my ZTT Diesel in April last year and have done 31,000 miles since then. When I bought it the car had a mis-matched set of tyres (18" wheels) all round so following much head scratching, review reading and discussions with friends in the trade I plummed for a set of Hankook Ventus V12 evo's. The real clincher for me, was discovering that they now appear to come as factory fit on new Fords. They seem to be a strange make as traditionally they have been known as a "budget tyre" but I wonder how budget they can be if a manufacturer is willing to put them on from the factory, Ive heard them also reffered to as a "premium budget" ???????.

I do a lot of motorway mileage and I do "push" the car and tyres when not on the motorway. Despite the abuse the fronts amazingly lasted 26,000 miles and like someone said on here they were also pretty competent in the snow at the back end of last year although to be fair I had just put a new pair on the front as the weather started to deteriorate... I've found them superb for grip and feel in both the wet and dry, infact I was that impressed I put a set on the missus Audi A4 sport when the Dunlops wore out. The backs are still going strong with 5mm of tread left. They are directional though which may put some people off.

I run mine at 34 psi if that helps.

ZT-T 180
I bought my car in may 2010, part of the deal was 4 new tyres. Autogrip F107's were fitted. The car has only covered 2600 miles since but I have driven in all weathers. Can't fault them, wet or dry, ice and snow. Bit noisey on motorway tho. I am tired of people telling me how bad these tyres are, usually people how have never had them fitted to their car!

I got Nangkangs on my ZT-T and find them fine with grip and noise.

Perhaps I don't corner as hard as you

I have had Kumho on my old ZR and they wore out very quickly, Had Nangkang on that too in the end.

may thanks for the respones, have decided either Khumos or Avons but can not make my mind up. Avons are more expensive at £100 ish each where as Khumos are £90ish.

I just had Kenda's fitted, £49.50 each delivered plus £10 fitting, pretty good so far road noise no more than the michelin's that were on before

I too run my ZT on Nankangs.

Replaced all 4 corners for £230 all in and had no problems so far.

Had Kumho's on mine until recently. They're OK when new but when they get about half worn, they became lethal in damp/wet conditions. Wouldn't touch them again with a barge pole.

So as a replacement I've gone back to Toyo T1-R's and also gone up a size to 235/40/18. They fit nicely on the Apex's and they're currently £110 from Camskill's. Well recommended.
