Vit, my 54 plate has an original back box the "clam shell type". If that's what you are after Euro carparts sell them. Ask young Andy Wii as he fitted one on his car and they are the spitting image.
I know the factory units are all in one length but when I went to my local exhaust fitters they quoted £88 for a generic one that looks nothing like the original. After 20 mins explaining to them they quoted £118 for the clam type.
Hope this helps.

I dont know if these are different to V8 xpowers, but the V8 ones are approx £400- £500 (second hand) IF you can find them, but then you do get both sides!!

I'm sure your local Branch of Powerflow would probably make you something up very similar!

Logical thinking isnt really the answer, unfortunately, as it is the originality/OEM factor that drives the price...

Although the V8 Xpowers have that (je ne sais pas?!) french expression I cant spell at the mo!

I know what you mean Richard the X Powers do have a certain je ne sais quoi!

However, as they likelihood of finding one in a fit state to fit to your car is fairly low, I'm sure that a quality made replica, would suffice for many!

Hi, I have one of these without the hanging bracket. Its near mint and only done a few miles. If your interested send me a PM. Its one of the later ones without the x power logo engraved on the top of the tail pipe. All the best, JB
