Default Silly Quiz Answers

I watch a few quiz programmes and often there are some hilarious answers whilst the contestant is under pressure.

On The Chase recently
Q "Alfred Lord Tennyson is buried where in Westminster Abbey?"
A "At the back?"

Got any that raised a laugh?

Three favourites from Pointless:

Who was assassinated in Dallas in 1963? Answer: "JR!"

Name a country that begins with a vowel. Answer: "Paris!"

Name a Team GB gold medalist from the 2012 Olympics. Answer: "Mo Mowlem!"

In fairness to the lady who gave the answer "Mo Mowlem", she corrected herself right away, but sadly they had to take her first answer.

My all time favourite is from many years ago on Family Fortunes.

Les Dennis: Name something made from wool.

Contestant: A sheep.

On one of the kids evening quiz shows where you had to answer questions across a board where each question had the first letter of the answer shown.

The letter was O and the question was “what is the term for a single entity that demonstrates life”

The answer is Organism

The young lad said Orgasm....

There has just been a good one on Pointless

The answer was Cressida Dick as someone who had been promoted to an important job

The contestant almost got it right!

But “Caress a Dick” was not the correct answer.

Does anyone remember on one of Dennis Norden`s I`tll be all right on the night out takes (Adult), when the host (Les Dennis)on Family Fortunes asked two contestants "name an unusual place to make love" and a female buzzed in quickly and said up the bum!
I have been looking for this for ages on t`internet and can`t find any reference to it.Would love to take the "lady" on a date

I don’t remember this from U.K. television but there was a recording some years back from Australian Radio where a guys wife was being interviewed live on a breakfast radio show and gave the same answer to a similar question.

Very funny to listen too.
