Default V8 for sale in ICS eccleston

Its advertised in autotrader ICS group Eccleston ( couldnt suss out how to post a link) but unless you want a lot of expense and hard work then dont bother going to view it.

I had a look last night.
its a basic spec 04 pre facelift in black, with 61000 on the clock. ex lex leasing.

on the plus side it has been regularly serviced, and had a new aircon pump, and the aircon works.

BUT

all4 brake discs need replacing, the alloys are very badly scuffed and bubbling, and are baked on with brake dust, the bodywork has seen more automatic car washers (scratchers) than Ive had hot dinners, front bumper looks to have had a bad respray, and the rear bumper has a bad scuff.- to be fair it had only come in and hadnt been "valeted" so I was seeing it at its worst.

didnt bother with a test drive, it would have taken an hour for them to get it out so couldnt check for clunks etc. Oh and round the plenum covers there was a forests worth of leaves.

It is on the cheap side at £8950, and was given the option of valet, service and warranty, or buy as seen, so could be a bargain for anyone prepared to do a bit of work, but personally I would spend more and go for a cared for example.

This is now sold and have to agree with comments above....the other (red) one is too not that good..Olympia Car sales.

http://www.olympiacarsales.co.uk/car...t=price%20DESC

It looks like its done more than 48k, drivers rear exhaust has been hit and it sounds like a diesel! This because the bottom pully in loose as you like.
Told the sales man I would not want to test drive it like it was.

PLus not a lover of the bright red...(Sorry for Red car owners, person taste)

Still all out looking though...was looking for a 190 till I test drove the V8 and for 6 MPG differance (give or take) I know what I'd have!!

The red one looks like TonyC's (XPF)....it's been around the 'Ring and tracked many times...but I'm sure never off..!
I thought he had done more than 50k in it and was starting to have problems...so got rid.
Sounds like it's in a sorry state now though...
