Is this price too high?
In the MGOC magazine "Enjoying MG" there is a Firefrost Red ZT260SE registered March 05 with 9000 miles for £16.000 no offers. Looks very nice & has the cream leather (like my ZT-T) but do you think it is too dear given what they normally seem to fetch? There is also on the same page an 06 plate Xpower grey model with only 2700 miles for £14900.

Thanks. Am tempted to go back to V8 but would mean selling the Aurora ZT-T

If it is a Private sale which it sounds like, thats £1400 to much, quite a lot.
Does depend how much you want it of course. Have to start doing more Valeting I'm afraid! |

Though in it's favour it is an SE with the SE option pack (like mine) & it also like mine has the Monogram cream leather interior which was a £2500 option. I fancy another V8 but I have such a rare 190 Tourer & added the Wilton carpet , side skirts etc that I would have to spend out again on the V8 which I don't mind doing I guess so long as the car is at the right price. However I have also considered selling the Tourer in favour of a well specced TF. I also won't let the ZT-T go cheap either. I have been offered a good price for it but not quite good enough considering it's rarity. Last edited by AURORA MG; 9th May 2007 at 20:08.. |

Bearing in mind the finite number of these cars around I'd rather pay too much for an interesting good condition one than 2k less for an "ordinary" standard car . Firefrost looks wonderful on the ZT and that interior...........

Bet its different when a Dealer sells it though even though the listed sell for Price that is stated, rather than the Screen Price. Last edited by JohnDotCom; 9th May 2007 at 21:07.. Reason: Removing part of Original ref post |
