Can anybody help !!
Just in the process of trying to buy some locking wheel bolts from ebay for my ZT-T SE260 can somebody help & tell me the length width & running gear that the 260 uses so I can buy the right bolts.
Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks |

Keith found these. http://hometown.aol.co.uk/nitrousgea.../business.html The bolts are the same for all ZT's and 75's and I think are on the 75&ZT site somewhere.

i did order some bolts off of ebay some stainless ones and they were 5mm to long, i ended up turning the ends off to the correct lenght, so if you get some, check this first against another one.

Only one thing to seriously consider Ged the back wheels will be on and off a lot they need to be torqued to near 125 ft lb and tend to tighten up in use so do you really want locking bolts?
I have done the opposite on my cars and gone back to ordinary bolts all round. for the V8 keep an eye on the condition of all bolts and as soon as any begin to wear replace them ditto any locking bolts I had a rounded off one on mine when I bought it and it was a pita to remove! |

Just one caveat Keith.
Any car with nice wheels parked overnight on many streets or car parks in cities will result in them being stolen if not securely locked on. There are many places where just leaving your car for half an hour will result in it being wheeless on your return. It's OK for us country bumpkins with off road parking and garages but not all have these facilities. |

Locking wheel bolts
HI; Keith, good point ! I would much rather not put on lockers but I think I would probably be OK done here in the deepest depths of East Devon, but I would always have the worry of going up to any of the major cities and having the alloys stolen.
Will just have to be very selective on which ones I buy I have had problems with locking wheel bolts before. Ged:lol: |

Just an update I have bought another Citroen Picasso for Karen it had locking wheel bolts. Like all my cars I always take the wheels off and have a good look at the brakes etc asap after getting them home.
One bolt was on its last legs and I had to make up a a jig that bolted to the wheel in order to keep the socket forced on the the bolt whilst undoing it! Then on Saturday I had a Peugeot 406 in for disk and pads, same problem the tool was, due to wear, slipping off the head. I think certain makes of locking bolt and the associated tool simply don't survive long when exposed to the abuse an impact ratchet puts them through at tyre shops I wonder if there are any published reviews on the long term survival of the various type of bolt out there I am definately starting to favour the fully enclosed style where the relase key is fully enclosed by the bolt so possibly preventing damage due to slipping. |

I bought a set of ordinary bolts from Peachperformance on eBay.
They sent a set with threads far too small. I returned them after stupidly giving good feedback. They said they never received them. Its now in the hands of the small claims court just for the hell of it. Avoid the above company, they have quite a bit of bad feedback for customer service
